We’re almost wrapping up August, and that means it’s time for a fresh batch of freebies for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Last month was all about LEGO Star Wars and Five Nights at Freddy’s, but next month we’re heading to the ballpark in MLB The Show 24 – also $40 off right now on Switch – and discover the “dark secrets of the Signal Tower in the horror platform adventure” Little Nightmares II. More details below.
Free PlayStation Plus games in September
You probably already know how this works – you have until September 2nd, the day before next month’s titles launch, to claim the August freebies (so do it now while you still can). All PlayStation monthly games will remain part of your PlayStation digital library for as long as your PlayStation Plus membership is active.
September’s PS Plus monthly free games are led by two notable titles: MLB The Show 24 on PS4 and PS5, and Little Nightmares II – in which you take control of Mono, “a young boy trapped in a twisted and broken world” – available on both generations of consoles
