Celebrate Black Diamond History at the Labor Day Festival | Black Diamond
The 77th annual event will be held on September 1 and 2. SR 169 will be closed Monday morning for a parade.

The annual Black Diamond Labor Days Festival, a popular and traditional event in this historic mining town, is celebrating its 77th year this year.
This long-standing community gathering offers a weekend of entertainment, shopping, games for all ages, food and community spirit on September 1st and 2nd, culminating in the traditional parade.
As in the past, there will be a range of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages and there will be numerous food trucks and vendors from local artists.
One of the festival’s special features is “Doggy Day”, a Sunday event dedicated to our four-legged friends, featuring pet-friendly activities and competitions that are sure to bring a smile to the faces of both pet owners and pet lovers.
Live entertainment is a central part of the festival, with performances by popular local acts including Raucous on Sunday and Cody Bartels and Hair Storm on Monday.
Also on Monday will be the Black Diamond Masonic Hall Pancake Breakfast at 7 a.m., the Black Diamond Eagles car show and the annual Labor Day Parade, which will close State Route 169 for a period of time starting at 10 a.m.
