The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the three victims killed in a crash on County Line Road Friday night. One victim was from Hatboro and the other two injured in the three-vehicle crash were from Bucks County, said Coroner Janine Darby. (Read more)
Health officials in Montgomery County have seen a sharp increase in positive mosquito tests in recent weeks, a rise that ecologists say is at least partly due to the effects of climate change. It’s not unusual for mosquito activity to increase in late summer, but what’s most concerning are the samples that test positive for the disease. The reconstruction of the Neshaminy/Rockhill Drive interchange as part of the Route 1 Improvements Project will result in the closure of a turning lane for three months, PennDOT announced Wednesday. Four people were injured in a shooting on Tuesday evening in Philadelphia, one of whom is in critical condition, according to police. The shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the 3200 block of G Street. A 23-year-old man, two 20-year-old men and a 30-year-old woman were injured. (Read more)
