The Hilton New York Times Square announced on Monday the premiere of The Lion King Royal Suite, in partnership with Disney Theatrical Group, inspired by Disney’s award-winning “The Lion King” on Broadway.
The Royal Suite of the Lion King in Hilton New York Times Square was curated by Broadway’s best wardrobe designer, Devin Sparkles Designand takes guests “who can’t wait to be king” to the Pride Land.
“Every detail of The Lion King Royal Suite has been carefully chosen to create a truly unique experience, entirely inspired by the Disney Theatrical Group’s iconic musical,” said Thomas Caska, general manager of the Hilton New York Times Square, in a statement.

The Lion King’s Royal Suite is the second suite inspired by a Disney Broadway show, following Aladdin’s Times Square Palace Suite, which was inspired by Disney’s Aladdin the Musical.
The Deluxe One-Bedroom King Suite transports guests to the Serengeti, with woven basket art, plants reminiscent of the vast grasses that stretch across the plains of Africa, hand-painted Rafiki-inspired patterns on the room furnishings, and a large Rafiki sketch print framing the suite’s entrance.
Carpets, pillows and bedding are decorated with fabrics from the musical, and bird puppets fly from the ceiling. The walls are decorated with woven baskets and framed costume sketches from the musical, and the bathroom offers a jungle oasis with artificial plants and warm Serengeti-inspired touches.
The Lion King Royal Suite Experience Package includes a round of two Hakuna Manhattan cocktails or two Serengeti Sunrise mocktails, a themed Simba S’mores dessert and a daily breakfast buffet for two. Guests will also receive a wake-up call from Rafiki Tshidi Manye, actor from the Broadway musical, along with a special sleep mask, a unique signed costume depiction from one of the musical’s actors and complimentary Broadway-themed Lion King merchandise.
