Bravo fans can watch Jax Taylor receive divorce papers in season 2 of “The Valley.”
The 45-year-old reality star received official notice on Tuesday in front of cameras that his 35-year-old wife had filed for divorce, sources told TMZ, who first reported the news.
Taylor was at his and Cartwright’s sports bar, Jax’s Studio City, when a third person handed him the papers.
Although the exes didn’t film a scene together, that didn’t stop the former couple from showing the world how they’re dealing with their new relationship status.
Cartwright, for her part, ordered alcohol to her rental home just hours after filing for divorce and then went out for a night on the town with her boyfriend and co-star Zack Wickham.
The Bravo star wore a figure-hugging blue dress and pointy black heels for dinner at Japanese restaurant Taisho in Sherman Oaks, California.
Meanwhile, Taylor went out with her also-divorced “Valley” co-star Jesse Lally, dressed in a sleek all-black outfit, to grab a bite to eat at trendy Craig’s in West Hollywood, California.
A source exclusively told Page Six on Wednesday that the former “Vanderpump Rules” star is doing well after Carwright’s divorce because he, too, is “100 percent in agreement with the divorce.”
“He opted out of marriage a long time ago,” the insider added. “He just wants a friendly co-parenting relationship.”
However, the source admitted that while the decision to officially end their marriage was “sad” for both reality stars, it had become “obvious” that they were “not a good couple.”
All of the ups and downs of Taylor and Cartwright’s relationship, including an infidelity scandal, have played out in front of the cameras since the latter joined “Vanderpump Rules” in Season 4.
The former couple also married on the hit show in Cartwright’s home state of Kentucky in June 2019.
Taylor and Cartwright, however, took a break from reality TV to focus on raising their son, Cruz, now three, but made their big comeback when “The Valley” premiered on Bravo earlier this year.
Although the new show’s cameras were turned off after Taylor and Cartwright split, they were turned back on to capture all the drama that followed.
Cartwright told her friends in the season finale that she decided to move out of her marital home because Taylor allegedly “yelled at her for hours,” bringing their past issues to light.
On Tuesday, the mother of one child cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and asked the judge to grant her sole custody and residency rights for Cruz, with his father having visitation rights.
There is no premiere date yet for season 2 of “The Valley” – which also stars Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Nia Sanchez, Daniel Booko, Michelle Lally, Jasmine Goode, Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna.
