According to TTU Athletics, individuals will use the app for their mobile tickets to use the stadium’s new “Tap and Go” ticketing system.
“We’ve tried it in baseball and there have been no issues,” said Robert Giovannetti, senior assistant athletic director. “We believe it will actually reduce lines in the stadium, especially at Gate 1, which is typically the busiest area of traffic on a game day.”

Giovannetti said no QR codes, physical tickets or screenshots of tickets would be accepted this year.
Individuals can also transfer tickets through the apps. For more information, visit texastech.com/feature/digital-ticketing.
